Ewshot Village Hall

For BOOKINGS please contact the Booking Secretary on 01252 850613 OR caryll.martin@btinternet.com.

Ewshot Village Hall is a traditional village hall, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is the ideal venue for regular and one-off activities and classes, parties including children’s parties, fund raising events, shows, meetings, and functions and celebrations of all kinds. The main hall has a wooden floor together with a small stage and lighting and there is a carpeted smaller room which is ideal for smaller group activities and meetings, etc.

There are facilities for disabled people inside the hall. In addition, Ewshot Village Hall’s recent Access For All project, has resulted in the hall being much more accessible for the frailer members of our community, wheelchair users and those with prams and pushchairs. An added benefit is that it is now also much easier for users of the hall with large items to carry, for example when running workshops or holding parties, to take equipment, etc into the hall. The Village Hall Committee would like to thank the UK Government for providing the funding for this project through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The village hall is not owned or managed by the Parish Council but by an independent registered charity. The hall, which is licensed for up to 120 people and which can seat about 70 people comfortably around tables, is available for hire and provides an excellent venue for both private and community events.

The fees, which are listed below, cover full use of the hall including gas, electricity and kitchen facilities. In addition, there is an enclosed grassy area to one side of the hall which can be used by people hiring the hall. Weather permitting tables and chairs can be taken out there and there is also room for a bouncy castle.

To make a booking, or to find out more about hiring the hall, please contact Caryll Martin (see above).

The hall is situated next to the Parish Council car park and at the rear is an excellent children’s playground.
