Information correct as of 31 March 2025:

The Parish Council has continued to accelerate the delivery of superfast broadband to properties across Ewshot Parish. Unfortunately, the broadband providers that are laying fibre either into Church Crookham or Upper Hale (GigaClear) are now not planning to continue the fibre roll out into our parish. This leaves us with the Building Digital UK (BDUK) roll out, which is being managed by the Government (through Department for Science, Innovation and Technology), and is being delivered by CityFibre.  We have managed to contact CityFibre who are already delivering fibre to the southern part of the county.  Ewshot PC is in “Drawdown 4” of the plan and thus planning and delivery will be sometime in 2026. 

In addition to CityFibre, a local resident is working with Cllr Morgan-Jones to explore the potential of adding a 5G network to the parish as this could be done relatively quickly, will provide high speed internet access and significantly improve mobile phone coverage particularly down Church Lane.
