Recreation Ground

The Recreation Ground, with its open situation and wide views is an attractive spot for family picnics, sporting activities and the very popular annual show held in July.

The recreation ground is owned and maintained by the Parish Council.

The recreation ground is available for walking and exercise. 

 

Tennis Court

There is no booking system for the tennis court - you can just turn up and play. Please adhere to the following rules when using the tennis court:

 The tennis court should be used for the playing of tennis only and no other activity.

  1. Play must be limited to one hour if others are waiting.
  2. The tennis court cannot be reserved.
  3. A person authorised by Ewshot Parish Council can close the tennis court at any time for any reason. Where possible notice will be given of any planned closure.
  4. Animals and bicycles are not allowed inside the tennis court enclosure.
  5.  No smoking on the tennis court.
  6. No food on the tennis court.
  7. Litter must be disposed of in the bins outside the tennis court or taken home.
  8. Ewshot Parish Council accepts no responsibility or liability for any personal injury or loss of property whilst using the tennis court.
  9. Private coaching will not be permitted.
The Parish Council will close the tennis court if any issues arise. 

 

 

Play Area

The Play Area next to the Village Hall on Tadpole Lane is owned and maintained by the Parish Council. Please let us know if you spot any issues in the play area and we will get these resolved as soon as possible. Users of the play area should use all equipment as intended and children should be supervised at all times.

The Play Area is regularly inspected checking for litter, damage to any equipment and cleanliness. There is an annual independent inspection undertaken and the reports for the last 3 years can be found below:
