Come and find out more about the Woodlands in Ewshot

Published: 06 August 2025

You are invited to join Surrey Wildlife Trust and the Woodland Trust as we explore ancient woodlands and all they have to offer on Wednesday 3rd September at 5pm in the Village Hall. We’ll be looking at different management techniques to restore and protect these irreplaceable habitats, as well as highlighting opportunities for connectivity within the landscape. We’ll also explore the important role hedgerows can play in connecting up different habitats. We’ll meet from 5pm to 7pm in the Ewshot Village Hall and will enjoy the chance to walk round an ancient woodland with experts who can let you know what to look out for and guide you to further support for managing the trees and woods on your land. Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear for a walk around a woodland. Unless the weather is particularly bad, we will be going ahead so please dress appropriately. If you would like to come along, please get in touch with Esther Hill at esther.hill@surreywt.org.uk. We look forward to seeing you soon.

This session is open to all residents living in the Parish of Ewshot.
